- Some deviation from outline consent requiring full planning applications
- Early delivery of some plots required
- Tight timeframe for securing consent due to expiry of the outline planning permission
Summary of NJL Approach:
NJL were instrumental in the formulation and implementation of the strategy for the delivery of the complex multi-plot and multi-application approach to the planning process. Our team co-ordinated masterplan architects and five additional plot architects, along with technical consultants and was the conduit with the local planning authority. We arranged a PPA with Salford City Council, which supported a clear, progressive path to delivery and the applications were approved within the tight timescales required by the outline planning consent.
Outcome:
Unanimous approval at Planning Committee for two reserved matters applications and a full planning application within tight timescales. Two of the buildings have since been completed and a further building is under construction.
