Flight Refuelling Limited Wimborne
Co-ordination of EIA covering multiple applications and separate design teams that was proven to be robust.
Flight Refuelling Limited sought to rationalise and modernise its manufacturing and testing processes at its facility in Wimborne, Dorset by releasing part of the site for residential development and focussing operations on the remaining land. Bellway Homes was chosen as the residential development partner with one outline, one hybrid and one detailed planning application being prepared for the various industrial and residential development proposals.
NJL was instructed to manage the EIA process and produce a single over-arching environmental statement covering all three planning applications. Alongside this we were asked to advise on sustainability measures that could be incorporated cost-effectively into the proposals and produce sustainability statements to support the planning applications.
