Harrogate Borough Council - LDF Preparation and Retail Planning Consultancy
NJL Consulting prepared the evidence base to inform retail policy preparation for the Harrogate Borough. NJL interrogated and analysed population and expenditure data and how growth linked to shopping patterns and highway network capacity could accommodate additional retail floorspace across the Borough.
The spatial strategy of the NJL study has been used in the preparation of the Core Strategy of the LDF. This has since been adopted and now forms the relevant local level Development Plan provision.
NJL Consulting is retained by Harrogate Borough Council to advise upon the consideration of planning applications for retail development within the Borough.
