Northwest Cheltenham Urban Extension
Promotion of major regional allocation sympathetic to the adjacent sensitive urban area. Co-ordination of multiple stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
Bloor Homes and Persimmon Homes are seeking to deliver an allocated mixed use site for a sustainable urban extension comprising 5,000 homes, 20 hectares of employment land and associated transport and community infrastructure in the green belt, spread across planning authority boundaries.
NJL is project managing the planning process, providing strategic development advice, co-ordinating the EIA and leading the sustainable development strategy.
Working with the client team, we have developed a robust pre-application budget, programme and commissions for the project team.
We have also led the liaison with the local authorities who are being co-ordinated by ATLAS. We have drawn up a planning performance agreement to enable effective joint working with the authorities and other key stakeholders.
