Peel Land and Property are bringing forward a potential development of up to 1,500 apartments incorporating a new co-living concept with ground floor commercial and retail units on land between the Broadway Metrolink stop and Michigan Avenue in Salford Quays.
The first stage in bringing forward this development is the submission of an outline planning application to Salford City Council but before we do this, we want to inform local people about the proposals.
We have worked closely with Salford City Council to develop the proposals which, if approved, will deliver a range of high-quality housing and commercial spaces to continue the regeneration of Salford Quays.
The development will bring forward up to 1,500 residential apartments, with retail and commercial uses that will bring activity to the ground floors of the buildings. High quality public spaces will be created around the development plots and routes will be established through and around the site to integrate the development with the surrounding area.
The development team has completed the design and technical review process, and we now want to inform local people about the proposals and provide you with an earaly opportunity to consider them.
The application that is being submitted to Salford City Council is an outline planning application. For this type of application, the key issue that the Council will be considering is whether they think that the site is suitable for the use being proposed.
We would welcome your views on the proposals, and encourage you to get in touch before 19 November 2018 to make your comments count.
You may be consulted again by Salford City Council once the planning application has been submitted.
Remember to include your name and address along with your comments. Please note that by sending us an email or letter you are agreeing NJL Consulting (Manchester) Limited to hold your personal data for a period of one year. Your data will not be provided to any third parties.
