I would cycle 500 miles, I would cycle 500 more!
Our MD, Nick Lee, tries to undertake some dubious cycling challenge every year of some form. This year he has entered the major league territory and is taking on the rather tortuous Lands End to John O’Groats challenge.
The ride is 970 miles over 9 days with 19,000 metres of climbing overall.
NJL look to support various organisations they know or come into contact with and this year we want to really help Seashell Trust.
Seashell Trust are the main provider of education to some of the most vulnerable young people in our society with multiple sensory deprivation, there is simply nothing else like it in the UK. We have got to know the organisation very well and want to help them in their longer term ambitions. You can see some background to them by going to the following link: http://seashelltrust.org.uk/
The children need exceptional care by exceptional people and rely significantly on charitable donations to operate.
Hence, Nick is keen to see if he can personally sweat his way to challenging you to help him with raising funds for them.
Today (15th September) is Day Six of the challenge and Nick has (hopefully!) hit the half way mark!
Some may say he is having a mid-life crisis, please make him feel somewhat more comforted by giving whatever you can to the cause.
Just follow the link below to help if you possibly can. We know you may get many requests, but we really would appreciate your help for this one!
Thank you to all those who have already donated and good luck to all those participating in Deloitte's challenge!
