NJL Consulting has submitted a hybrid planning application, on behalf of St Modwen Properties Plc, to develop land at Chamberhall in Bury for an employment-led mixed use development. The application comprises of a full planning application for 12,000 sq.m of Use Class B1, B2 and B8 employment floorspace in 16 units on Phase 1 of the development and an outline application for a mix of retail, leisure and employment uses on Phase 2.
This planning application represents an important milestone in bringing forward a development site that has been allocated for over 20 years, so that it can make a valuable contribution towards Bury’s economy.
After assisting in Idle Hands’ pursuit for a permanent home (more information on that available here [insert link ]), NJL has successfully obtained planning permission and an associated Listed Building Consent to allow Beatnikz Republic Brewing Co. to occupy a unit at 35 Dale Street in the Northern Quarter.
Centrally located within Manchester’s Northern Quarter, 35 Dale Street comprises a Grade II Listed Building which previously housed office uses across its 4,000 sq.m of floorspace
