Residential Development at Weir Road, Norwood
On behalf of Cashco UK Ltd, NJL Consulting have submitted a full planning application to Lambeth Council, for the redevelopment of a brownfield site to provide 8 dwellings. The site is currently occupied by a cash and carry and associated storage buildings and parking areas. The cash and carry business is in the process of relocating a larger, more suitable site within Lambeth in the near future, which NJL are also advising on.
The site is located within a predominantly residential area and the current use is not sympathetic to this location; the proposed development is more in-keeping with surrounding properties and will improve existing residential amenity. The proposed residential development will provide 8 detached dwellings of 3 storeys, including a lower ground storey to minimise the impact upon adjacent residential properties. Associated car and cycle parking and private amenity space is provided on site.
On behalf of Cashco UK Ltd, NJL prepared the Planning Statement, assisted with the Design and Access Statement and also managed the preparation and submission of the planning application, including co-ordination and review of all technical reports. NJL are now in the process of monitoring the application through to determination.
