Our client, Cashco, is proposing the redevelopment of the derelict site located at the corner of Knight's Hill and chapel Road.
The proposals include a warehouse space to accommodate the growing needs of Cachco (currently located off Weir Road, Balham), office floorspace and 26 residential dwellings. The proposed scheme would see the reuse of a derelict site, which over the years of none use has become somewhat of an eyesore within the local area.
Cashco currently operate from a premises off Weir Road, Balham, however, they require a larger premises, which is not as constrained physically as their current location. They intend to construct a new warehouse at the Knight’s Hill site, with officer floorspace above, to be let separately, and to provide 26 affordable residential units.
Cashco intend to submit a planning application for the proposed redevelopment to Lambeth Council in due course, however, are keen at this stage to understand the views of the local residents and will seek to address any concerns they may have.
