And the job?

We are currently looking for a full time 'experienced planner' to join our proactive team here in sunny Manchester. 

Various levels will be considered, so if you're a Planner or Senior Planner looking for your next step or an Associate Director wanting a new challege, we want to hear frorm you.

You will be a key member of the planning team and the role will provide the opportunity to take a client fronting lead on a range of exciting projects with the support of a junior team.

You will manage a diverse portfolio of exciting projects, dealing with clients and local planning authorities directly to take developments through the planning process. You will be involved with appraising sites and assessing the prospects of securing planning permission through the Local Plan process.

Role requirements

We're looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual.  You will have good planning stage project management skills and experience of working with other disciplines involved in the planning process.  A strong understanding of development management procedures and working with local planning authorities through to the determination of planning applications is required.  Experience of the planning appeals process is preferable.  

You should be a Member of the RTPI and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.   Working as part of the team is really important here and being able to demonstrate a strong team work ethic will go a long way.
