What is GDPR?

GDPR is European law that extends your data protection and privacy rights. The main aims of GDPR are to make companies more accountable for storing your data and to make data storage more transparent.

We will collect your personal data should you choose to sign up to receive industry, company and news updates from NJL Consulting.

On occasions we may be asked to carry out public consultations on behalf of our clients, in this instance we may collect the following information:

Why we collect your data

NJL Consulting gathers information to use across our business development and marketing channels and to subscribe you to various updates from us. In addition to this we may hold information on behalf of our clients for the purpose of public consultations.

How we use your data

We will only use your data to market NJL services, invite you to NJL events, or send you relevant industry updates. If you have provided us your details in conjunction with a project your details may be disclosed to our client but no other third party.

Committed to security of data

All data collected by NJL Consulting will be stored securely in hosted facilities by V1 Project Accounting and on the NJL Server.

Third party data access

We may be required to share your data with some selected third parties. This could include a venue or catering company should you have dietary needs ahead of an event.  We may pass your details onto our clients if you have provided information and comments in relation to specific projects.

We will not sell your name, address, e-mail address or personal information to any third party. Our website may contain links to websites of our clients and other third parties. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that they have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. Please check these policies before you submit any personal data to these websites.

NJL Consulting do not use cookies on our site. However, we do contain links to third party sites that do use cookies that have their own cookies policies.

We use this to understand how the NJL Consulting site is being used in order to improve the user experience. Your user data is all anonymous. Using Google AdWords we are able to see which pages helped lead to contact form submissions. This allows us to make better use of our paid search budget.
